About Us

The Papkuil Reserve lies in the untamed heart of diamond digging country, some 120km from the historical town of Kimberly in the Northern Cape, the largest province in South Africa. We are an ideal stopover for visitors to the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, Augrabies and Witsand Nature Reserves and Namibia. The Northern Cape’s shear size, clear skies, flamboyant sunsets, brilliant starry nights and incredible silence are powerfully intoxicating. It is here, where beauty and adventure go hand in hand.

We had a great time visiting Julius and Madelene. I have never met such nice people and the food we had were absolutely fabulous. Gaming was also exceptional with many species all over. We hope to be back soon.

One of the best experiences of my life I will be back, and soon!! We stayed eight days and, wish I could have stayed the remainder of my life. They treated us like Family. The Room, the food, the view, was all top notch. The Property is beautiful and the wild life were amazing to watch. Do yourself a favor and book some time there, you will not regret it.

Everything was a lot more than expected, great service, awesome place, just everything was perfect. The place, rooms and facilities they are just incredible, people are great, the services in all aspects where awesome, one of the best places I have been in my life. Thanks for everything.
